Olympic Park StratfordThis website is designed to support those coming to London ahead of the 2012 Olympics, who are actively working on projects leading up to the games and who need help, either with finding somewhere to stay while they are working here, or require a temporary office and assistance to work effectively in London for a short period. Whether you are part of the construction team building the Olympic site, have a role in supporting athletes or an international Olympic team, or you are with the media or some other business activity associated with the games, we’re here to help.

To keep you up to date with developments this portal includes regular news on the construction of the Olympic Park and the Athletes’ Village in Stratford, in East London, and the other sports venues around the UK. In addition, we provide news of preparations for the games as they unfold as well as, the events surrounding the paraolympics and the cultural activities surrounding the games plus transport and infrastructure developments.  To make sure your stay in London is as enjoyable as possible we will also include lively information on what to see and do in London while you are here.

Our dedicated accommodation section will guide you through the options whether you are in London for a few days or a few months.  There is also information on finding a temporary office and the business support you may need from telecoms to translation.

Accommodation

accomm90x90As a member of a project team you may be working long and often anti-social hours, and finding time to search for somewhere to stay can be difficult - especially trying to fit this in around your work commitments.

Finding accommodation is time consuming, stressful and frustrating at the best of times. Stay for Games takes the hassle out of finding somewhere to live, no matter whether it's a flat for short term rental (under six months), an apartment or house for long term rental (over six months), or a shorter period of a few days or weeks in serviced accommodation, hotel or bed and breakfast.

International Support

globe90x90If you are coming to London from overseas you may need additional support to help you in your role in the UK.  We offer a range of services to support international project teams providing everything from translation and language training to specific cross cultural support. You may need assistance with financial, banking or currency issues or require information concerning immigration and visas.

The international support section provides practical help and advice for those on an international business trip or short-term assignment.
